Fall Dining Room 2020

Ok – this was SO much fun to put together!

I actually couldn’t find purple/pink velvet pumpkins anywhere so I got crafty and decided to MAKE all of these velvet pumpkins.

I went to FabricLand and picked up a bag of stuffing and a few yards of each colour of velvet fabric and did some sewing. 

I love how they turned out, and it actually worked out to be a gazillion dollars cheaper than if I had found and bought velvet pumpkins. So it was a win!

I had put out the pink plate set I own for Easter, so I wanted to change it up and go with something different so used the grey plate set I have instead. Which I think was a nice touch because then the colour of the plates aren’t competing with the colour of the pumpkins.

I put the velvet pumpkins on a bed of eucalyptus (a very fall floral) and then strung several strands of fairy lights throughout.
